i finished recording my piece for 10,000 tracks of audio titled Myriad and am now in the final stages of mixing.  4 years of love, sweat, and beers have gone into making the most amazing piece of music that i’ve ever heard.  gonna shop it around to a few different labels soon, so look for an update here in the near future!

Barn Owl‘s Ancestral Star on Thrill Jockey.  They’re also on tour right now, playing the 18th (tonight!) at the Issue Project Room in New York, the 19th in Philadelphia, the 20th in Cincinnati, and the 21st in Chicago.  Then be sure to check them out in San Francisco at The Independent on December 16th when they open up for Lichens and the legendary stoner metal band Om.

one last thing, my friend kristine barrett just released her two part opera via bandcamp!  we mastered “lily maude horseman” about a year ago, and added loads of dirt and grit to her “ancient rock”.
